Don't be afraid of the distance between your dreams and reality...

Wow, 2014 is shaping up to be everything I dreamed it would be, and more!

I am sitting here pausing as I type, with a sudden over whelming feeling, that for once, everything is going MY way. If you really want something, you have to make it happen and that is the decision I chose to make. 

I love those epiphany moments, when things start clicking into place, and one of mine was when I read the following quote.

At the end of 2013, I knew exactly what I wanted from 2014, and as the year started I suddenly felt really really scared that my dreams, were actually in touching distance. I think at that stage it’s easy to, and I truly believe some people do, back away through lack of self belief or excuses. Well this time I really believed I deserved it and my dreams are now turning in to firm plans.

I have had the most amazing support from my friends, and I am so grateful. 

To you readers, I hope you’re making your dreams into plans too! When you get to the finish line, it’s the best feeling ever. If you’re going through a tough time, don’t give up! Every thing will come good in the end, that I can promise you.

Love when you can, while you can, as much as you can...

Recently I’ve been making a big effort to get in contact with ‘old’ friends, and arrange catch ups. I say ‘old’ but they’re not really old, just friends I haven’t seen for a while. Sometimes I find it so scary how quickly time flies! When counting back the years to remember when we last saw each other, the conclusion was, that it had been way too long.  It’s so easy to feel like strangers with memories, but the most amazing part is when you chat like those years apart haven’t made any difference. 

I’ve felt such joy in sharing my experiences, reminiscing about old times, catching up on current times and talking about our plans for the future. It’s incredible how much talking to an old friend, makes you realise how much your life has changed. 

One thing that makes me very happy, is that those people I don’t see often, can catch up on all my goings-on right here. I love to hear people enjoying my writing, and especially when they say it inspires them and makes them happy. That was and always will be the intention of my blog. 

On parting our separate ways, my last words were; ‘we shouldn't leave it so long next time’, which unfortunately we may well do. Living lives seperated by dreams, distance and responsibilities, it gets hard to find the time. 

Contact an 'old' friend today, you never know, you might just make their day.

Carly's tale...

So it's been a while since I shared a photography post. Unfortunately with the awful weather at the moment, my camera is staying safely tucked away. So today I thought I'd share a few more photographs from a shoot I did back in October. 

Me and my model Carly, ventured into the Suffolk country side. Unfortunately, we ran out of light in the end but here are some of my favourites.
