Sarah, Scrumpy & Zara - Equine Photography Suffolk
I cannot begin to describe how much I loved this equine shoot. Sarah, the horses and I braved the showers which perfectly resulted in pretty skies and gorgeous sunlight. We did a lovely combination of the horses separately and together to show off their personalities. They are mum and son so it's lovely to capture their relationship together. We headed up a beautiful track nearby, found places around the yard and finished up at the ford.

The tale of Susan, Laura and their ponies...
Heeeey,
Well this has to be one of my favourite horsey shoots ever!
The ponies were so well behaved and loved posing in front of the camera. The setting was beautiful too from long grass to splashing in a stream, the photo opportunities were endless. As you can see below we captured so many beautiful moments.

Launching 'From field to fabulous'...
Heeeey,
Wow, I am so excited to share this post with you all. We have been working very hard to get all the details finalised and now we can finally share them with you.
Along side the other photography services that you will find available through the website, going forward to follow our intentions, Heels & Horseshoes will primarily be focusing on equine photography.
Launching our brand new experience:
From field to fabulous...
This exciting and unique experience gives you the opportunity to get the model treatment before an on-location photoshoot with your equine friend.
*Firstly you will get to meet the lovely Clare. She will work her magic on your hair and makeup, according to your preference of styles and how glamorous you would like to look. Clare is extremely successful with over 20 years in the health and beauty sector and she's even trained with pixiwoo. Clare uses all high end products including mac and clinique to give a beautiful result.
*Next up the photoshoot, with myself Gemma. I have always had a passion for photography and horses, so for me photographing you and your horse is literally a dream come true. I have studied to degree level in photography and since graduating have trained and worked with excellent photographers ever since. With experience in photography combined with owning a horse myself, you're definitely in good hands.
The shoot itself can take between 1 and 2 hours. A variety of shots will be taken, you can have up to 2 outfit changes and we will really focus on getting the best out of you and your horse, in front of the camera. I love to capture your bond and any cheeky personality traits your horse may have.
*Following the day itself the images will be retouched and enhanced in our own special way to make them look their very best.
*You will be given a list of all our beautiful products and ways to display your images, which you can then choose from to suit your needs.
SPECIAL LAUNCH OFFER
To celebrate the launch of this experience you have the opportunity to get all of the above with all digital images for 50% off. This means you will pay £250 instead of £500. This limited offer will cover any bookings taken from now until (and including) 31st July. To book please email heelsandhorseshoes@hotmail.com or call 07467 133483.

Poplar Park 2015
Heeeey,
On Sunday I headed off to my first horse event of 2015 - Poplar Park horse trials.
Boyfriend and camera in tow, it was a perfect day for me.
On Sunday I headed off to my first horse event of 2015 - Poplar Park horse trials.
Boyfriend and camera in tow, it was a perfect day for me.
I set myself a theme of ‘movement’ for the day. I didn’t want to photograph aimlessly, equally so I didn’t want my focus to be on winners, I wanted an intention for my shots.
The most popular type of eventing shots will see a horse and rider mid-air frozen in time. I wanted to try to take something a little bit different.
Horses are beautiful, strong, fast animals and I wanted to represent them in that way.
